
Prayer can be mysterious, but it is never complicated. Most prayers are the outpouring of our hearts, some of them have words. The psalmist starts our today devotion with a lament prayer. A prayer that hasn’t got any word and that’s fine with God. Our prayers can be whispers or just one-worded “help”, they can be liquid (tears only) or just a simple conversation between friends where we pour out our hearts in any conditions they they might be.
Jesus himself prayed and taught his disciple how to pray starting with.
Our Father… what a start … and not directed to any father because our earthly fathers might be harsh and disappointing to us, but Our Heavenly Father, the creator of the universe, the one that supplies never run down, the source of anything good and pleasing is hearing our prayers.
So we can go to him and say “daddy”, simple and bold like that, and know that we
