Starting your day right.

Psalm 5:3

Starting your day right, wisdom , choices

Do you ever wish that you started your day differently? We all get the same amount of time every day 24h each still, some people seem to use their time more wisely and efficiently than others. What is the one thing that makes the difference?

Many studies have shown that almost all of the executives wake up before 6 am, and more than half of of the millionaires wake up at least three hours before their workday actually begins.

In today’s psalm we see a similar pattern.

Every morning
you’ll hear me at it again.
Every morning
I lay out the pieces of my life
    on your altar
and watch for fire to descend.

Psalm 5:3 MSG

How we wake up and how we start each day is very important. I know that these days we separate people into ‘early risers’ or ‘night owls’ but I am with our writer, David and Suprgeon on this.

“The morning hour carries gold in its mouth.” ~ Charles H. Spurgeon

Dedicating the first hour, or minutes we wake up to time with our God set the day in the right direction.

Before we press the button to hear the news, let us hear first the Good News.

Before we face the world, let us read the Word.

Before we encounter any problems, let us be in his presence.

I am not alone witnessing the benefits of starting each day with time with God. Just observe the lives of people we see as successful, happy and established, I promise you they have a good morning routine.

Starting the day right means being with God and meditating in His presence. This habit contributes to our health, wealth and wisdom.
