Psalm 27:10

Very few people abandon us when life is good.
This promise of ’no forsaking’ is usually given on good times but tested and tried on challenging times.
LD
I will never leave you – say the bride and the groom to each other.
I will never reject you – says the good friend
I will never ignore you- says the good mum and dad
I will never forget you – says the child
But we all do, we all have done what we promised to not do. We forsake people, plans, promises daily.
The hardest of all ’forsaking’ is that between a mother or father to their child, still, that happens, even more nowadays.
We, people, are broken, so we break our promises and our lives.
But God does not do that, ever.
“My father and mother abandoned me. I’m like an orphan! But you took me in and made me yours.”
Psalms 27:10 TPT
God is the promise keeper. He gives his word to us and he keeps it.
All can forsake us and forget us, but He never has.
He is with us, for us and always will be for eternity.
