You know the word ‘salvation’ can sound, big and sophisticated and difficult to understand, but what is salvation?
Simply put the word salvation means: to rescue, to deliver, to redeem
Man, we, the human race was lost and spiritually dead after the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. The relationship with God broke, the relationship with one another broke and the relationship with nature broke.
There was not sacrifice that we could have made to put this right. No actions, gifts or rule-keeping would have made us right with God.
So, God saved us by his sovereign grace and mercy by the atonement of Jesus Christ. He worked and planned salvation without our help from the beginning of times. It’s a gift to us that cost God everything. It’s a love offering. It’s yours, it’s ours, it’s for all who have eyes to see and accept this gift.
