Your Place in me

Psalm 84:5-9

Our lives are roads where God travels. This idea of us being a traveller, a sojourner is not new. God takes each one of us in a journey, faith journey to reveal himself and his love.

The journey is unique and unpredictable to each of us. With every step, we take God could be leading us into a fresh fountain, or a river, a valley, a mountaintop or a combination of a few. He is patient and helpful, he knows what we need and makes sure to encourage us to have it.

Many of us go through a journey of ‘idol disposal.’
God knows that idols are attractive and well camouflaged to us, yet fatal. Until our strength and joy rest on God alone, we will struggle to maintain a strong life. Until our hearts are set in pilgrimage we will forever settle for less then good. It’s about a transformation pilgrimage, it’s about going from glory to glory, from strength to strength and seeing God face to face.
