Safe in his Sanctuary

Psalm 73:25-28

The church is not a what (building or a cathedral). The Church is a who (people). For many years we have seen the church as a building or an event that we go once or many times during the week to worship God and for many to do our ‘religious duty.’

But church is people, not places, people who share the gospel, life, bread and belong together. That’s why when we get together, no matter how many in numbers we become the body, the home of God.

Christ is the head and we are the body. We worship and praise, sing and give thanks, share scripture and lives, over a meal or not. Together we belong inside the safe shelter of God, a place where all are welcome and together we share the wonderful things God has and is doing.
